About Baseline
The Name
In baseball, strong results are built long before the biggest moment. They begin with footwork, fundamentals, preparation, awareness, repetition, and the ability to respond when the game does not go your way. That foundation is the baseline.
Build The Baseline is more than a tagline. It is the belief that confident players are developed through consistent standards and purposeful work. We want every athlete to understand that growth is earned one rep, one adjustment, and one decision at a time.
Our Mission
To develop competitive, coachable, dependable baseball players by building strong fundamentals, strong habits, baseball intelligence, confidence, and respect for the game.
The Baseline Standard
Listen, apply feedback, ask questions, and stay open to adjustment.
Run out ground balls, sprint on and off the field, and give intent to every repetition.
Arrive on time with the correct gear, uniform, and mindset.
Be physically and mentally present during practices, games, and instruction.
Accept mistakes, learn quickly, and compete on the next pitch.
Respect teammates, opponents, umpires, coaches, families, facilities, and the game.
Bullying, hazing, humiliation, and disrespectful treatment of teammates are not part of the Baseline standard.
Philosophy
Practice should prepare players to make decisions under pressure—not just complete drills. Baseline training should connect mechanics, movement, approach, baseball IQ, communication, and game situations.
We value results, but we also evaluate the habits behind them: quality at-bats, defensive preparation, situational awareness, effort, composure, and the ability to make adjustments.
Private evaluations are available now for 9U–12U players across DFW.
